We have pattern-making capabilities that would provide a custom fit and look for your child. Most of our costuming materials are sourced with several suppliers in New York City and Philadelphia for best selection and quality.

Heirloom Designs was created by Sandy Boyd who was frustrated in finding a quality costume for her daughter. She remembered costumes made by her mother back in "those" days, and could not find quality in today's stores. With some sewing and art background as a hobby, Sandy decided to use these skills and pursue some creations. Motivated by a local Halloween costume contest,
Sandy Good Morning America Telecast made a costume in 2000 for her daughter's first Halloween. Every year, the costumes became more of a project. In 2003, Sandy decided to showcase her work and appeared on ABC's "Good Morning America" with her daughter Halloween Morning 2003.

After 15 years of working in the chemicals industry, she is pursuing costuming as a business and would like to share her creativity for other children. If you require an in-person visit consultation, measurement, and fitting, travel could be arranged either domestic or international.
